Trellis Counselling is governed by a Board, consisting of 5 members.
Board positions include Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and board members.
A different board member acts as a liaison person between the Board and the Committees of the Board, the Counselling and Support Committee, the Education and Training Committee and the Resources Committee.
Board members have a three year term and are then eligible to be renominated.
The Board meets a minimum of 8 times in the year (twice in every quarter) to consider matters pertaining to the functioning of the Association as well as reports from the different Committees. Broadly speaking the Board’s function encompasses accountability, finance, policy, public relations and planning.
The Board seeks to promote the aims of the association in every way possible.
